Have you ever thought about fostering and making a difference for children?
Do you think you could foster? Then we need you!
Can you play a part in providing a safe, loving environment for a child, be part of the team around the child, help children and young people achieve their best?
Are you committed, caring, patient, and child centred, willing to develop your skills and gain qualifications, are you a non-smoker?
Do you want a chance to help a child or young person succeed in life; do you have a spare room?
Did you answer yes to these questions? Then Middlesbrough Council needs you to help us to care for our children and young people who are not able to live with their families.
Foster carers receive an allowance to cover the costs of looking after a child and as foster carers develop skills and experience, there are chances to progress and receive additional payments.
Middlesbrough Family Placement Team will provide you with training to equip you with the skills to fulfill your role.
When you notice that you are making a difference, no matter how small, it can be so rewarding.
