In Middlesbrough Children’s Centres we use evidence based parenting programmes to support the development of family life.
The Family Links Nurturing Programme
A tried and tested programme that helps us to think about what we do, why we do it and how it makes us feel. The programmes are delivered from Children’s Centres over 10 weeks and cover:
- Understanding why children behave as they do
- Recognising why children behave as they do
- Exploring different approaches to discipline
- Finding ways to develop co-operation and self discipline in children
- The importance of looking after ourselves.
