Major Road Schemes
QUESTION:
information regarding Middlesbrough Council's pending or unimplemented major road schemes which include the construction of a new highway (class a and b) and pending or unimplemented traffic schemes.
ANSWER:
The Council proposes to undertake the following schemes:
The East Middlesbrough Transport Corridor Scheme (details of this scheme are available in the Local Transport Plan).
Southfield Road – Traffic calming scheme.
Ormesby Road – Cycle path schemes.
Town Centre Residents Parking Scheme – bounded by Linthorpe Road, Southfield Road, Park Vale Road, and Park Road North.
Additional proposed traffic schemes are currently under review and I am unable to confirm these at this time. However, the information should be available within approximately one month’s time.
