Where is the funding coming from?
The funding is from Partnerships for Schools, who are a non-departmental public body wholly owned by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) – formerly the Department for Education and Skills (DfES). PfS have a national budget of £45 billion.
Middlesbrough Council has been awarded £96 million under BSF and is contributing £7 million from its own resources.
