Street care and cleaning
The work that is undertaken by Streetscene Services plays a vital part in the life of Middlesbrough. The Service is responsible for looking after Middlesbrough’s public spaces and ensuring that they are clean, tidy and attractive. To achieve this takes a lot of work and as you will see from the sections outlined below Streetscene Services operates a wide range of services from refuse collection and maintenance of the highway through to the provision of flowerbeds and waste education services. We believe that what we do is important to the present and future of Middlesbrough and we are working hard to deliver with the citizens of Middlesbrough a clean, green and attractive town.
