The council has 23,500 street lights and illuminated signs. A partnership with D.W. Lighting delivers all sevices relating to this asset on the highway.

The partnership is responsible for the inspection, painting, testing, fault finding and the correction of all faults.

We will repair street light faults within 1 week of being reported. Please note that when there is a failure of the electricity supply it is the responsibility of the utility services to carry out repairs and this may take longer.

Damaged street lights and illuminated signs are potentially dangerous and should be reported without delay.
