We are planning a meeting to be held on Tuesday 7th September at Grove Hill Methodist Church (near Belle View roundabout near Tesco)

The event will start at 10:30am till 1:30pm tea and coffee will be provided from 10.00am.

We will discuss the Carers Strategy and the National Carers Survey that went out earlier this year.

This meeting will replace the Carers Partnership meeting and we are requesting that members of the Carers Partnership will help to host and facilitate the event.

Ruth Hicks, our acting Executive Director of Social Care will introduce the event.

If you would like to book a place for a carer please contact Gemma Gillespie on (01642) 729253

The Care and Support Alliance is currently compiling a piece of research on the impact of cuts to care services on carers and ill, older people and disabled people. This will be used to inform the consultation the Government has announced on where cuts to public services will fall, to make the case that social care funding must be protected.

If you would like to respond , you can complete a quick survey on whether or not you are experiencing cuts and how service changes have affected you.

Please select here to complete the survey online

We are launching our new strategy to highlight issues for people with physical disabilities at an event from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Wednesday 8th September at the TAD Centre. More information
