Archives offer a number of different services within the Council.  The services we provide are as follows:

Postal search service, deciphering and translating service - We are able to offer a postal search service for members of the public who are unable to visit the department in person.

Conservation service - Teesside Archives has a professional Conservator who is an accredited member of the Society of Archivists.

Learning & access services - Our learning and access team is available to work with adult groups and schools within the community.The team can offer both  visits to the department as well as outreach sessions at external venues,and can provide copies of original documents for use in the classroom or meeting.
