Our friendly park rangers are on hand in many of our parks and facilities to give information and help. There are many events from festivals to children's craft activities throughout the year, so check our 'What's on parks and countryside' section before your visit (link to the right).

Green Flag award scheme
The Civic Trust, national organisers of the Green Flag award scheme, have awarded Middlesbrough five out of the 42 Green Flag status parks in the North East. Albert Park, Pallister Park, Fairy Dell and Hemlington Park all have the Green Flag status, and Linthorpe Cemetery has been awarded this coveted title for the first time this year.
