The Group supports a programme of Local Safety Schemes to promote safer driving and reduce casualties. We are committed to the following targets of accident reduction by 2010 :
- 40% reduction in the number of people killed or seriously injured
- 50% reduction in the number of children killed or seriously injured
- 10% reduction in the number of slight casualties
