Sporting Chance

Sporting Chance logo

Sporting Chance is giving men aged 50 and over in Middlesbrough a chance to get more active and lead healthier lifestyles.

Sporting Chance is a combination of exercise and socialising with others in friendly local venues around the town. The project  is exclusively for men and led by men, with activities including physical exercise, reminiscence sessions, trips and events. The project offers sessions that meet local demand, so will be shaped by participants' preferences. There can be something for everyone, from armchair exercise to circuits, walks, badminton and much, much more.

The instructors have a wealth of experience in supporting people who may have health issues or other concerns and would encourage men to come along and see what the programme can offer them.
