Information about how you can arrange office and other waste collection

It is the responsibility of every trader to hold a trade waste contract with a reputable company. Although Middlesbrough Council no longer operates its own trade waste collection service, the Council can assist you in arranging collections. It can also offer information concerning your trade waste disposal responsibilities.

Middlesbrough Council works alongside Ayresome Confidential to offer a Office Recycling collection service for paper, cans, plastics and cardboard, we also provide a confidential shredding service.

Middlesbrough Council and Ayresome Confidential can provide a variety of containers for Office Recycling including an Eco-Depo or a 240ltr wheeled bin. If you would like more information on the Office Recycling service please e-mail: officerecycling@middlesbrough.gov.uk

In relation to the confidential shredding service we will provide a 240ltr secure lockable container into the workplace, once full the container will be collected and securely shredded with a Certificate of Destruction issued on each collection which is signed on behalf of Ayresome Confidential and the designated member of staff at the collection point. This is in line with corporate policy.

Ayresome Confidential is able to offer both a shredding collection and also an administration facility whereby staff can be placed to organise and facilitate the service for collections.
