New fish are being introduced at a popular Middlesbrough angling venue this week

New fish are being introduced at a popular Middlesbrough angling venue this week.

The crucian carp are due to be released at Hemlington Lake on Friday, May 11 between 11.30am and noon.

The fish are being provided by the Friends of Hemlington Lake thanks to a grant from Hemlington Community Council's Environment Fund to develop angling at the lake.

The new additions will boost existing stock and attract new anglers to the popular still water venue.
