The latest in the popular series of talks at Teesside Archives takes place on Thursday, June 7.
Peter Chester will take a light-hearted illustrated look at 'The significance of Corporation Road in the post-war history of education in Redcar'.
In post-war Redcar, Corporation Road was home to Cleveland Technical College and Sir William Turner's Grammar School which went on to form Redcar & Cleveland College.
The histories of the two establishments are explored in Peter's book 'New Lamps for Old - a hidden history of Redcar & Cleveland College'.
The talk takes place at Teesside Archives in Exchange Square, Middlesbrough from 2.30pm.
