Highway asset management
Asset Management is a vital part of Middlesbrough Council's Highway Service. The Council has approved the first part of a formal Transport Asset Management Plan (TAMP), which has been adopted as the framework for delivering highway maintenance and management services across the network.
Nearly all residents in Middlesbrough will use the highway regularly, as do many thousands of visitors and people coming into the borough to work and shop. The condition of our streets has a significant contribution to make to the health, safety and amenity of residents and visitors, it also helps to make Middlesbrough an attractive place for businesses to locate.
