We Care You Care

We Care You Care is a 'one stop shop' providing information and advice to unpaid carers across Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland.

We Care You Care is run by Middlesbrough Voluntary Development Agency (MVDA), on behalf of Middlesbrough Council and Redcar & Cleveland Council.

What is an unpaid carer?

A carer is anyone, a child or adult, who looks after a family member, partner, or friend, who needs help because of illness, frailty, disability, a mental health problem, or an addiction. The person would not be able to cope without the carer's support.

The care is given for free.

Am I a carer?

Does somebody rely on you for care and support?

Do you provide:

  • practical support
  • emotional support
  • personal care
  • physical help
  • help with medication
  • help with finances

If you answered yes to any of these, you are a carer.

If you're looking for information and support, check out the We Care You Care website.
