Cremation charges

The following services are included in the cremation fee:

  • The scattering of cremated remains in the Garden of Remembrance (by appointment, during normal office working hours Monday to Friday)
  • The temporary storage of cremated remains for one month after the cremation service
  • The use of a chapel for a 30 minute service
  • A cremation certificate
  • Use of the organ (organist's fees are extra)
  • The medical referee's fees
  • An environmental charge (relating to mercury pollution from cremated remains)
  • Up to 3 pieces of music, subject to availability (these must be appropriate and not offensive)
  • All employee charges
