St. Hilda's Chapel

The modern interior of St. Hilda's Chapel

We have two chapels, St. Bede's and St. Hilda's. You can choose which one you'd like to use.

St. Hilda's Chapel, with its modern, Scandinavian-influenced decor, is bright and welcoming. It seats up to 80 people.

The chapel is not consecrated, so it's suitable for all religious and non-religious services. All religious symbols in the chapel are removable.

You can choose pre-recorded music for your service, whether that's religious, classical, or popular music. We use the Obitus media system which can be used to choose music for the service, and there are TV screens to display tributes. The chapel also has an organ.

A webcasting service is available for those who are not able to attend the service.

Accessibility

There are toilets (both standard and disabled) close to the chapel.

Disabled parking spaces are available, approximately 25 metres from the front doors of the chapel, and the chapel is wheelchair accessible. A hearing loop is available.
