A Community Asset Transfer is when we hand over community facilities which are no longer required for council use to local groups and third sector organisations for the benefit of the community.

Completed transfers

  • 2-5 Langdon Square to Coulby Newham Baptist Church
  • Hemlington Recreation Centre and Hemlington Hall Farm House Barn to Tees Valley Community Asset Preservation Trust
  • Langdon Square Community Centre to Langdon Square Management Committee
  • Linthorpe Cemetery lodge to Groundwork NE and Cumbria
  • Mill Hill playing field to Lions Raw and Cleveland Juniors
  • Pallister Park centre to Southlands Judo and Sports Club
  • Saltersgill allotment to Saltersgill Allotment Association
  • Stewart Park central lodge and associated land to Askham Bryan College
  • Stewart Park visitor centre, animal enclosures, Henry's Café, and associated land to Askham Bryan College
