Middlesbrough's Central Library is a unique, historic venue in the heart of the town centre. It's a convenient and comfortable location for meetings, lectures, and groups looking for a prestigious meeting space.

Central Library refurbishment

Central Library is closed until Autumn 2024 while we make changes and improvements. We're redesigning the main ground floor library area, and making the whole building more accessible. You cannot currently book rooms in Central Library.
