CGL is a free and confidential service which offers alcohol support for adults and young people.

Change, Grow, Live (CGL) - treatment and care service

CGL is a free and confidential service which offers drug support for adults and young people.

They provide help, screening, and assessment, as well as support groups. They also have a 'harm minimisation service', which includes a needle exchange, testing and vaccinations for blood-borne viruses (e.g. HIV and Hepatitis C), and wound care.

Ageing Better Middlesbrough works to help reduce loneliness and isolation in people who are over 50.

They:

  • support older people to use digital technology
  • work one to one in people's homes and community centres to help individuals make positive changes so they feel less lonely and isolated

Middlesbrough Men's Shed

Men's Sheds are community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, e.g. woodworking, bike repairs, gardening, furniture renovation, etc. They are great places to connect with others, and they are supportive of people with long term health conditions.
