Market trader licence

Middlesbrough Council operates an outdoor market in North Ormesby on a Tuesday and Saturday. We are currently working with North Ormesby Development Trust to develop the market and provide improved community involvement in the market operation.

For general enquiries, the market office is open on market days (Tuesday and Saturday) and can be contacted on 01642 244564.

To operate a market stall you'll need a licence from the council. Read more about the relevant legislation.
