Volunteering

Volunteers are an important part of our communities and we're committed to supporting them.

On this page you can find out about the volunteering opportunities available in Middlesbrough. Keep checking back as we'll be adding more opportunities in the future.

For more information about volunteering, email volunteering@middlesbrough.gov.uk.

Applying to volunteer

To apply, you'll need to fill in the volunteering application form and send it when you contact the organisation or group you want to volunteer with.

Our volunteers privacy policy explains how we'll collect, store, and use your data. Our safeguarding adults policy explains how we keep vulnerable adults safe.

Green spaces

Middlesbrough is full of beautiful green spaces, many of which are maintained with the help of dedicated volunteer groups. If you like being outdoors and are not afraid to get your hands dirty, why not join one of these groups?
