Our online book of remembrance

Restrictions are starting to ease, but you must still remember: Hands. Face. Space. Fresh air. Check the current rules.

Message from the Mayor of Middlesbrough, Andy Preston:

"So many things that are really important to us as a community have been stopped by the pandemic. The Remembrance Day Parade and Service is sadly one of those but we won't let the occasion go unmarked. We'd really love as many people as possible to share their stories, photos and their tributes and help us make sure that those who gave their lives for us are remembered as they should be."

We've created this Book of Remembrance because we're not able to hold this year's Remembrance Sunday parade and service as normal due to coronavirus. We will remember them.

You can read the messages which have been submitted on our Book of Remembrance page.
