Please note, members of the public that would like to attend full council meetings must first book a place online. Please read 'Important information - booking to attend Council meetings' below.
Meetings usually commence at 7pm, however depending upon the business for the meeting, the timing of individual meetings may change to 6.30pm, e.g. where the council is to present awards, receive presentations from external agencies, or include policy conferences as part of the meeting.

Important information - booking to attend Council meetings
Arrangements are in place to ensure the smooth running of Middlesbrough Council meetings.
Access to the Town Hall is from the main entrance on Centre Square from 6.30pm, with the public seating area in the Chamber open from 6.50pm.
Access to the lift for those with disabilities is via the rear door in the corner of the quadrangle behind the Town Hall.
The capacity of the public gallery will be limited to 40 people to comply with health and safety and fire regulations.
Admission will be on a first come, first served basis, with priority given to those who have registered their intention to attend in advance via this website.
Please note, the council has begun a major £8 million restoration and refurbishment of Middlesbrough Town Hall, with funding support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, and as part of this work the Civic Centre car park and Town Hall courtyard will no longer be available for parking.
