Middlesbrough's CCTV network is to be expanded across the town's communities to aid the fight against anti-social behaviour and fly-tipping. New cameras are being sited in areas including Easterside, Newport, Hemlington and Berwick Hills and Pallister in the continued effort to clamp down on bad behaviour.
Plans have been put forward for a high quality development on the site of the former Tollesby shops, which have now been demolished and the site cleared. New designs released by Middlesbrough Development Company show an exciting new scheme incorporating 24 one- and two-bedroom apartments, shops and a children's nursery.
