Calling young musicians - the Town Hall stage awaits you

A young person playing guitar at the Town Hall

The stage is set for budding young artists to make their mark in the world of music.

The search is on for acts to take part in a special music festival at Middlesbrough Town Hall organised by young people for young people.

Hosted by Middlesbrough Council and MUSINC, the event on Sunday, October 30 will be a showcase for solo artists, bands and DJs aged 21 and under.

Musical Inclusion Manager Rebecca Johnson said: “Our Young Producers group are teaming up with the Town Hall to put on a special music event to showcase the talents of Middlesbrough’s young people in October.

“It is an event created by young people, for young people, and they are looking for music acts of all kinds to perform.

“It’s a great chance for young acts to perform live on stage in front of an appreciative audience, and will be a real celebration of the amazing talent we have here in Middlesbrough.”

The music festival takes place at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Sunday, October 30 from 3pm to 9pm. For more information email or
