Was your business severely impacted by the Covid tier restrictions?
Middlesbrough Council has amended a grant scheme aimed at supporting those who continued trading but suffered a significant fall in income.
Businesses in the hospitality, leisure, hotel, bed and breakfast and nursery education sectors which were not legally obliged to close were originally able to apply.
The scheme is called the Local Restrictions Grant Scheme (open businesses – local restrictions)
It has now been extended, effective from December 10 2020, to include other businesses that can demonstrate they have been severely impacted because of the Covid restrictions placed on the above sectors.
Businesses must be able to demonstrate they continued trading and suffered a significant fall in income.
