A Middlesbrough Council by-election is being held following the resignation of Berwick Hills & Pallister ward member Councillor Lee Garvey.
Nomination papers for the election are available from Electoral Services, PO Box 503, Town Hall, Middlesbrough, TS1 9FX and must be delivered to the Returning Officer no later than 4pm on Wednesday, June 1.
If the election is contested the poll will take place on Thursday, June 30.
Those residents who are already registered to vote in the area will receive a Poll Card advising them of where their polling station is located, between Tuesday, May 24 and Wednesday, June 1
The last date to register to vote in this by-election will be Tuesday, June 14.

Deadline for receiving new postal vote and postal proxy applications, and for changes to existing postal or postal proxy votes, is 5pm on Wednesday, June 15.
Deadline for receiving proxy applications, and for changes to existing proxy votes is 5pm on Wednesday, June 22.
Applications for an emergency proxy vote applied for on grounds of medical emergency or inability to attend the polling station because of work reasons occurred after 5pm on Wednesday, June 22, must be submitted to the Electoral Registration Officer by 5pm on Thursday, June 30
