Christmas party for Middlesbrough's Dementia Cafe

A special Memory Lane Dementia Café Christmas Party is taking place at Middlesbrough’s Central Library on Wednesday, December 19 from 1pm-3pm.

Anyone who lives with dementia and their family or friends is welcome to attend the event which will include entertainment from a ukulele band, games and activities, festive food and gifts.

The event is free and all ages are welcome.

Festive fun in North Ormesby 

A Christmas party and other festive events have been organised to take place at North Ormesby Community Hub.

The seasonal fun kicks off at the Derwent Street centre with a free festive event on Tuesday, December 11 from 3.30pm-4.30pm and also a week later on Tuesday, December 18 at the same time.

The Christmas party takes place on Thursday, December 13 from 4pm-6pm and will include a disco, magic show, face painting, crafts and a Santa’s Grotto. Entry is £2.

Finally, an afternoon of tea and bingo, with a raffle, will take place on Friday, December 21 from 12.30pm-2.30pm. Tickets are £5.

Festive fair at Marton Library

A festive fair is taking place at Marton Library on Friday, December 14 from 1.30pm-4pm.

The event will include Christmas craft stalls, festive refreshments and carols sung by Captain Cook Primary School choir.

Festive craft sessions at Central Library

Children's festive craft sessions are taking place at Middlesbrough’s Central Library on Saturday, December 8 and Saturday, December 22.

Both events are free and will include festive crafts and stories between 3pm-4pm.
