You can have your say now on a major Middlesbrough Council funding bid to breathe new life into The Crown and House of Fraser buildings.
The Council is finalising a bid to the government’s Levelling Up Fund and a consultation to gather the public’s views is open until July 3.
The draft bid details how the Council would buy and redevelop The Crown, a key town centre site with a rich history as the ABC Cinema and a bingo hall before its days as a nightclub.
Funding would also be used to convert the House of Fraser building so it could accommodate several uses over its expansive floor space.
The consultation asks for views on the draft plans, other alternative suggestions and potential uses for the two key sites.
The consultation can be viewed online here. It closes at midnight on July 3.
