Let's Talk...about what matters to you

Middlesbrough Council wants to hear from local people as preparations for next year's budget gather momentum.

Let's Talk is the annual conversation between the Council and the communities it serves to help inform the authority's planning, budget setting and key priorities.

In addition to a proposed Council Tax increase of 2.99% for 2022/23, this year residents are being asked for their views on:

  • Their local area
  • Their satisfaction with local services
  • The continued impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the way they access Council services
  • The Council's plans around local taxation and expenditure.

You can have your say by completing the online survey.

To receive a paper copy of the survey, a version in another language or in an alternative format, email letstalk@middlesbrough.gov.uk or call 01642 245432.

The consultation period closes at midnight on Sunday, January 23 - any responses received after this date will not be taken into consideration.

More information is available on the Let's Talk webpage.
