Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities must produce a publication scheme. A publication scheme is a guide to information giving details of:
- the information we routinely make available
- how the information can be accessed
- whether or not a charge will be made for it
Our publication scheme contains seven classes of information.
Our statement of public task sets out the functions carried out by Middlesbrough Council that are within our public task under the Re-use of Public Sector Information Regulations 2015. Re-use means the use of information for a purpose other than the initial purpose for which it was produced, held, collected, or disseminated.
