As part of the government's requirement for local transparency, local authorities are required to publish salary data on their senior management staff. The information is updated yearly and therefore provides a snapshot of the organisation as at 31 March 2017.
Scope of disclosure
In line with the government's guidance we have included all staff who earn over £50,000 per annum.
This page contains the data that Middlesbrough Council is mandated to produce in relation to staff salaries and organisational structure as described by the Local Government Transparency code. The data is contained in this xlsx file, which includes the fields listed in this document, and the Pay Policy Statement.
Pay Policy Statement
The Pay Policy Statement sets out the Council’s policies on remuneration of its staff in accordance with section 38 of the Localism Act 2011.
The data is freely reusable under the terms and conditions of the Open Government Licence.
If you need further information about any of the payments, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, setting out the details of the payment including the document number and what additional information you require. Such requests will be handled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, and the council aims to provide a response to your query within 20 working days.
