Register Office update

In line with government guidance, you should wear a face covering if you're attending an appointment or ceremony at Middlesbrough Town Hall.

You can now book the following:

  • an appointment to make a birth registration
  • a wedding
  • a civil partnership
  • an appointment to give notice of marriage/civil partnership

Cemeteries and crematorium (Bereavement Services) update

We're now starting to some services again. The number of people who can attend a burial or cremation service is 30. From 8 August, anyone attending a service in the chapels at Teesside Crematorium, or visiting the Chapel of Remembrance, must wear a face covering.
