The council has a number of committees, each with a specific area of responsibility. Committees meet regularly to make decisions, look at policy issues, and investigate different topics relating to the local area.
The members of committees reflect the political balance of the council.

Agendas, reports, and minutes of committee meetings are also available on ModernGov. Information is added as soon as it becomes available. You can also use ModernGov to check the members of a particular committee.
