Green month takeover

Green action days - 24 to 28 October

As part of our green promise, we’ve introduced days of action to every ward in Middlesbrough. We held ten in the spring, and now we’re holding the remaining ten. All days will feature a community litter pick and micro-forest planting, alongside other exciting green activities.

Acklam

Monday 24 October - 10am - meet at 'The Prospect' field

Ayresome

Monday 24 October - 1pm - meet at the top of Stainsby Road

Brambles and Thorntree

Wednesday 26 October - 10am - meet at Thorntree Park (rear of the multi-use games area)

Central

Wednesday 26 October - 1pm - meet at Teessaurus Park

Coulby Newham

Thursday 27 October - 1pm - meet at the Fernwood junction with the cycle path (next to number 9 Fernwood)

Ladgate

Tuesday 25 October - 10am - meet at Nature's World car park

Linthorpe

Tuesday 25 October - 1pm - meet at Westbourne Road, park entrance

Marton East

Friday 28 October - 10am - meet on the grassed area at the rear junction of Gypsy Lane and Cloverwood

North Ormesby

Thursday 27 October - 10am - meet at North Ormesby Hub

Stainton and Thornton

Friday 28 October - 1pm - meet at Maelor's Wood, adjacent to Low Lane
