Teesside Archives charges (2023/2024)
Teesside Archives will be temporarily closed until spring 2024 while the Dorman Museum is refurbished. While we're closed, we'll answer email enquiries where possible, but document copying and our research service will be suspended until we reopen.

Digital photographs and self-service book scanner for private use
Single images - £1
One day licence - £10 per day
(£7.50 per day for OAP / student)
Copyright forms must be completed and returned.
The use of the book scanner may be limited and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
You'll need a licence if you want to use images for commercial purposes. Fees may apply. Please ask us for more information.
Scanning by staff
Scanning by staff cost - quote per job.
Please note some documents are unsuitable for scanning.
Digital images will be sent by email or online transfer.
Staff time - £7.50 per 15 minutes.
Prints will be charged at the rate above, and postage and packing will be added if applicable.
Research fee
30 minutes - £15
1 hour (maximum of 3 hours) - £30
This cost includes a research report and up to 4 scans per 30 minutes. Please ask us for more information.
Conservation work

Walks and talks
Guided heritage walks - £3 per person
External talk - £50
A member of staff may be available to give a talk to an interested group either at the Archives or another location. Please ask us for more information.
