Easterside Community Hub and Library

All Libraries and Community Hubs are still closed due to coronavirus.

Although the government has said that libraries can reopen from 4 July, we will not be reopening any of our libraries yet. This is because we need to make sure we have the right measures in place to make sure both our staff and customers are safe.

We'll provide updated information on our plans for reopening as soon as it's available.

Don't worry - we won't be issuing any fines while our libraries are closed. Please keep hold of the books you have on loan until libraries reopen.

The Community Hub at Easterside is located in the square on Broughton Avenue and provides the following:

  • Access to library services
  • Information on local public services
  • Free access to the internet and Wi-Fi
  • Space for advice services
  • Space for community meetings and activities
  • Early years and youth services, activities and support
  • Space for leisure activities
  • Photocopying and printing services
  • Work clubs
  • Employment support including a Preparing for Work board in the library

Check out the libraries website and online catalogue.
