Albert Park

Albert Park covers an area of 30 hectares in the centre of Middlesbrough. Facilities available include a visitor centre, roller skating rink, cafe, swan and boat hire on the lake, tennis courts, bowling greens, play areas, bandstand and much more.

Opening times

Albert Park Visitor Centre

Open every day from 9am to 6pm

Albert Park gates

Open every day from 7:30am until 7:30pm

Please follow social distancing rules when you're using the park. If you're using the play equipment, please follow these rules:

  • anyone using the play equipment must wash or sanitise their hands before and after use

  • when it's busy, parents should limit their child's use of the park to 15 minutes

  • stay 2m apart from anyone not in your household or 'bubble'

  • do not allow your child to use the play equipment if they or you are showing any symptoms of coronavirus

Toilets have now reopened. The cafe has also reopened, with takeaway only.
