Residents can have their say now on a major Middlesbrough Council funding bid to breathe new life into The Crown and House of Fraser buildings. The Council is finalising a bid to the government’s Levelling Up Fund and a consultation to gather the public’s views is open until July 3.
The first phase of works to create a quick and safe cycle route into the heart of Middlesbrough is set for completion. The new route will eventually run from the town centre along Linthorpe Road and on to Acklam.
A call has been made for volunteers to join in with a newly developed community growing project at Trinity Methodist Church on Stainsby Road in Whinney Banks, which is the first of a number of community garden projects coming to the town.
