Learning English in Middlesbrough
You can take classes to help you learn English. These are called ESOL classes, which means 'English for Speakers of Other Languages'.

Not all of the classes shown on the map are formal classes, which means that you might not get a certificate at the end. But English conversation classes are still a great way to learn English, and to make friends as well.
Middlesbrough adult learning
Middlesbrough Community Learning looks after adult learning in Middlesbrough. If you have refugee status, or if you are an asylum seeker who arrived in the UK more than six months ago, they may have courses which are available to you. Please contact the Strategic Cohesion and Migration Manager if you would like to be referred to Middlesbrough Community Learning for ESOL or maths classes.
